Humana Nova is an eco-social enterprise that promotes the employment of persons with disabilities and other socially excluded groups through a textile waste management model, as well as the production and sale of high-quality, innovative textile products made from ecological and recycled materials for both domestic and international markets. In doing so, it contributes to the sustainable development of the local community, poverty reduction, and environmental protection. Humana Nova currently employs 62 people, including 37 persons with disabilities and 20 individuals from other marginalized groups. It produces socially and environmentally responsible textile products, provides textile waste management services, and organizes creative textile recycling workshops. The collaboration between Humana Nova and Tehnix Eco Industry further strengthens their joint impact in the fields of sustainable development and the circular economy. Through the substitute quota model, employers are enabled to fulfill their legal obligations regarding the employment of persons with disabilities, while simultaneously contributing to a more inclusive society and strengthening socially responsible business practices. This partnership combines expertise in waste management and innovative technologies with extensive experience in textile reuse and social entrepreneurship. Through joint efforts, sustainable business models are being developed that reduce textile waste, promote efficient resource use, and contribute to the development of the local community. The goal of this successful collaboration is the continuous development of products and services with a positive environmental and social impact, while building partnerships that promote responsibility, solidarity, and long-term sustainability.
