Spring Camp and Tehnix Eco Industry Open the Doors to the Future
In early April 2026, the “Spring Camp for Primary School Students” was successfully held at the Technical School Čakovec as part of the Regional Centre of Competence activities. The camp was intended for final-year primary school students from Međimurje County, with the goal of helping them choose their future careers and become familiar with vocational education. During the four-day program, students participated in a variety of interactive workshops in the fields of mechanical engineering, mechatronics, computer science, and electrical engineering. The workshops were designed and led by teachers and students of the Technical School Čakovec, who presented educational programs as well as working and learning conditions in an engaging and practical way.
A special value to the camp was provided by cooperation with industry, with the company Tehnix Eco Industry standing out as one of the key partners, participating as a “Sponsor of the Day.” As part of their involvement, company representatives held a presentation about their work, innovations, and employment opportunities, and gave students insight into a real working environment through an organized tour of their production facilities. This type of collaboration enabled students to experience firsthand how knowledge is applied in practice and to better understand the connection between education and the labor market. Positive feedback from students, parents, and partners confirms the importance of such activities in the process of career guidance for young people.
