First Delivery of a Special Dual-Compartment Vehicle for the Slovak Deposit Return System
Tehnix Eco Industry has delivered the first of a total of four specially configured vehicles for its Slovak partner Konnex and the end customer Slovensko zálohuje, the leading PET and aluminum packaging deposit collection operator across Slovakia. Today’s ceremonial handover marked the delivery of the first vehicle in the order, developed according to the customer’s specific requirements for the efficient collection and transport of packaging waste. The vehicle is equipped with a special dual-compartment upgrade with a capacity of 16 m³, enabling separate collection of different types of packaging while further optimizing logistics processes and the efficiency of the deposit return system. The Slovak deposit collection system currently achieves collection rates exceeding 95% of the total amount of PET and aluminum packaging, placing it among the most successful systems in Europe and making it an outstanding example of circular economy practices and sustainable waste management.
