Tehnix Eco Industry has continued the implementation of its contract for Slovak partner Konnex and the end user Slovensko zálohuje, the leading operator of the Slovak deposit return system for PET and aluminum beverage packaging. Following the successful delivery of the first specially configured vehicles, another vehicle from the order has now been delivered, developed according to the customer’s specific requirements for more efficient collection and transportation of packaging waste. The new vehicle is equipped with a specialized dual-compartment upgrade with a capacity of 22 m³, enabling the separate collection of different types of packaging while further increasing operational efficiency and optimizing logistics processes within the deposit return system. This delivery represents a continuation of the successful cooperation on the project aimed at modernizing packaging waste management infrastructure in Slovakia. The deposit return system operated by Slovensko zálohuje achieves collection rates exceeding 95% of PET and aluminum packaging, making it one of the most successful systems in Europe and an outstanding example of the effective implementation of circular economy principles.
