sponsor at the 15th Conference on Municipal Services, which is being held on 24
and 25 September 2026 at the Olimia Congress Centre in Podčetrtek, Slovenia.
The conference is the leading annual professional
event for Slovenia’s municipal services sector, organized by the Chamber of
Municipal Economy of Slovenia (Zbornica komunalnega gospodarstva Slovenije). It
brings together representatives of municipal utility companies, experts,
speakers and other stakeholders to exchange knowledge, share experiences and
best practices, and discuss current challenges and the future development of
municipal services. This year’s conference is held under the theme “Municipal Services
– The Foundation of a Resilient Society”, highlighting the importance of
reliable municipal systems, infrastructure resilience and responsible
management in the face of increasingly significant social, economic and
environmental changes. The first day’s programme covers current topics such as
geopolitical and social changes, artificial intelligence, climate risks,
infrastructure resilience, and the importance of positive relationships and
psychological resilience in the workplace. The second day is dedicated to
professional areas within the municipal services sector and features five
parallel programme sessions covering economic and legal issues, drinking water
supply, wastewater drainage and treatment, waste management, and the
maintenance and cleaning of public spaces. Particular emphasis is placed on
practical experience, examples of best practice, and legislative,
organizational and technological developments. Through its participation,
